Microneedling Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Overview:
This course introduces students to microneedling (collagen induction therapy) using the Dr. Pen device. It is suitable for those already practising or who have completed the aesthetic foundation pathway. Includes:
- (Microneedling training)
- (including physiology/complications module)
Teaching Style: One-to-one – Private Tuition
Modules Covered:
- Microneedling Techniques (using Dr. Pen)
- Skin Physiology & Anatomy
- Complications and aftercare
What You’ll Learn:
- How to perform safe, effective microneedling
- Improve skin texture, scarring, and collagen production
- Understand the structure and function of the skin
Course Format:
- Home Study: 1 manual (physiology & complications)
- Practical Training: 1 day in clinic + theory review + test
- Students treat a minimum of 3 live models
Requirements:
- Must be practising aesthetics OR
- Must have completed Foundation Course (Pathway into Aesthetics)
Duration:
- 1 day in clinic + home manual reading
Certification:
CPD Accredited Certificate for each completed module
Support Provided:
- Free re-attendance for further practice if not passed
- Shadowing opportunities on Maya’s busiest clinic days
- Assistance with insurance, supplier setup, and business setup
